Welcome to the
October 2008

Welcome to the CLC Bulletin for October – full of opportunities for young people and staff.

Although students are now mostly settled into the new academic year, there are still massive problems getting EMA applications and claims processed. We are pushing as hard as we can on the government to get this mess sorted out, but meanwhile young people may be in hardship.

Please shout if you know of young people who may have to drop out of courses if their EMA isn’t paid soon. There could be things we can do to get some cash released.

Chris Heaume, Chief Executive, CLC
