What is the Activity Agreement Project?
Central London Connexions (CLC) has been running one of eight national Activity Agreement Projects (AAP) since April 2006 which helps 16 and17 year olds who are NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) get into EET (Employment, Education or Training).
Who can join the project?
16 or 17 year olds (over compulsory school age) who have not been in a job, college or a training course for the last 6 weeks. If you are claiming JobSeekers Allowance (JSA) you can join straight away.
What may I be able to get?
- One-to-one support – From a named dedicated Personal Adviser
- Qualifications and activities that you choose to do – For example, First Aid Training, Job Readiness, Literacy and Numeracy, tasters with training providers and college
- Weekly allowance of £30 for up to 20 weeks
- Financial support - A small fund to help with other costs including travel,
lunch and interview clothes.
